Kaspersky KryptoStorage is a basic, but functional program that will allow you to create protected folders and volumes for storing confidential information.
For a Kaspersky program, Kaspersky KryptoStorage isn't very slick, but at least that means that you won't have problems finding your way around. Unfortunately, the program doesn't exactly have a surfeit of help and how-tos, so you'll have to create your secure areas by trial and error or using previous knowledge.
Kaspersky KryptoStorage works by mounting secure areas as separate volumes, so when you create a folder or container, you will be able to access it as usual unless you right click on the folder and find the KryptoStorage options in the context menu. Detaching the folder will make it secure, and re-attaching using the password will allow you to access as normal.
Kaspersky KryptoStorage also has a disk recovery option in case of problems with your secure volumes and, via the context menu, you'll find the option to wipe folders and files. It goes without saying that information will be lost using this option, so be careful!
Kaspersky KryptoStorage effectively creates secure volumes and folders, but desperately lacks information and gloss.
